I got $400 from Sealed Power/Federal Mogul at Earlville in 2004 for #1 in SS. At that time they still paid Divisional and National # 1 Qualifiers $400. I think the next year it went to $200 for Divisionals (don't know who paid), and ZERO for National Events. We quit chasing points after the 2004 season, so I didn't follow it after that.

I received number one qualifier money at two NHRA points races this year. One contingency was from Coan Transmissions (Div. 3) and the other was from Aeromotive (Div. 5). I would like to thank these two companies for supporting sportsman racing. Stock and Super Stock (and Comp) can certainly use more dedicated sponsors such as these. We should all support the sponsors that support us.

I think Rob Cruzen got $50.00 and a hat for # 1 in SS at the Noble OK race this past weekend. I don't know from who.

Wayne, Division 1 stopped about 3 years ago. Bob Lang told me they couldn't get a sponsor for it after Aeromotive dropped it. Aeromotive was paying $200. Division 3 payed me last year from Coan Transmissions
