Unhappy Re: 2008 cobra jet mustang on ebay

Maybe this dealer should just close the showroom and put all his cars up for the highest bidder?
I guess I'm just getting old,but it seems that the love of money is the rule and not the exception.

Here we freaking go, I thought these cars MSRP was around $35k? Do they really warrant that much of a mark up? If I had the money I think I'd build a real Cobra Jet, not one those expensive 4V engines.

The Challenger factory Drag car is slated to be at about $35K. It is non-running, not even close to race ready. The mustang factory drag car as shown here is pretty much turn-key race car with MSRP of $70,000. I saw one test here in AZ and it was running 138 MPH on street fuel engine tune! Now you can bet it takes a serious 1968-1970 428 Cobra Jet in SS to run 138+ MPH. $70K might get you there. But I doubt it.
