Ford guy questions about 429s

A friend of mine used to have a 70 Ford Torino GT. He still has the original 429 SCJ and Auto Trans. He says it is complete with shaker hood scoop. The trans has SCJ on the bellhousing also. Single 4 bbl car. He does want to sell it. I have no clue what it is worth and neither does he, but is looking for a fair price to move it out of the garage. Any ideas what to look for? It is an original engine, not rebuilt. It ran fine but would need a rebuild. It has been stored inside his garage for years. I think he may have the title for the old car, but the car is long gone. These would be pretty rare parts, price of course depends upon who "really" needs/wants them at the time of selling. Had a few friends who had the 351C versions of the 71 with shaker hood, but only one 429. If the Air Cleaner has the air snorkel as well, it is worth a good bit more.
