Best Appearing Car, Mopar Nations in Denver 2010 Featured in National Dragster August 26, 2011. 2011 NHRA National Stock Class Performer winner in Stock Automatic. Set A/SA Record in 2011 Many stock qualifier #1,s Numerous class wins. #1 qualifier, and Stock Eliminator winner in Noble Oklahoma 2011 The car has been built with the lightest components, with a priority of making it as light as possible. It is still one of the lightest DP Cars tracking. Here is what is included in the Sale: Challenger Drag Pak #24, Turnkey “Ready To Race” with 5.7 Engine Combination (This was originally a 6.1 car, 6.1 DP marked/partial/broken short block included) Present set up could easily be fitted with 6.1, or 6.4 hemi. The Cage and Chassis work were done by Mike Pustelny at MPR Race Cars in Michigan , undoubtedly one of the premier chassis builders in the country period. So much so that when Dodge, and Ford and even GM decided to build the new "Package Cars" He was selected by ALL OF THEM to do the prototype work! I only say this to confirm that Mike knows what he is doing, and does it as well, or better than anyone else. His welds are almost invisible under paint. This car is #24 of 100 2009 Challenger Drag Pak's built, If you know anything about them, then you already know they have Carbon Scoop Hood, Viper Seats, Polycarbonate side windows a lightened chassis with 3100lb factory weight listing. Appearance: The MegaManiac has had complete chassis paint underneath, trunk and engine compartment. The exterior is still the factory B/C in white, and the entire exterior visual scheme on the car (except the replacement hood which is painted black) is a WRAP by Gator Wraps, and easily removed to show a clean white car ready for your own wrap or paint Scheme! The replacement hood is painted black, and has chrome push release (quick lock) hood retainers avoiding inconvenience and scratches. The original white painted and wrapped hood with dzus fasteners, which flew off the car in Las Vegas is slightly damaged, and has visible repairs to scoop, is also included. The Engines & Driveline Parts 5.7 Drag Pak Motor, NHRA legal engine in car, running and race ready. Custom modified Oil pan for max oil return, and no oil pressure loss on deceleration of burnout. Mechanical Oil Pressure gauge Visible Tachometer. Moser "Drag Pak Special" Custom 8 3/4 housing with Richmond pro 4.88 gears, and Strange alloy spool with Aftermarket Yukon Nodular case, and billet caps and adjusters. Rear end powder painted in gloss black, along with other rear end suspension arms. Turbo Action built 904 Transmission, Alloy internals and other specialties, E-Shift Valve Body, ATI Converter. Turbo Action Shifter, with Command Center and E-Shift Computer, Line Lock. Steel Alloy Custom Drive shaft with Mark Willams Yokes Rebuilt, tested and matched fuel injectors EGTs on all cylinders, Innovate LM-2 Original polycarbonate windows available with car. Replaced in car with glass stock windows. Unique custom window control switches that allow driver single handed control of both driver and passenger windows, and avoids typical drag pak problem of improper window closure at top. MPR Race Cars weight box, with 100 pounds of shot weight removable. 5 Gallon Fuel Cell with proper venting Lightweight alloy removable steering wheel (column is factory tilt/telescope) Dual front pusher fans 16 volt battery and system, with 16 volt battery Charger Newer 100amp 16 volt Power Master alternator, second 100 amp 16 volt Power Master needs rebuilt for use as spare. Chrome Meziere electric water pump. CSR Fiber Trans Shield. Headers; Custom 3 Step Headers by Pete Z, with Stainless Steel TTI merge collectors. Car has hook points at each of the four corners for secure/easy tie down. The Rest of the Package. 24ft Carmate dual axle trailer (1997) Recently serviced, and is cosmetically in fair condition, this trailer has two new axles. Setup to pull Drag Pak Car with four ratcheted tie downs. Racing specific tools and Spares with overhead storage and work bench with ample storage under it, in the front of trailer. New Breakaway Switch and Battery on trailer Load leveler bars and hitch. Original Shipping wheels car that DP car came with. Original Ducting and components the car came with, carpet, etc. The ORIGINAL Numbered 6.1 block was damaged, but the block may be repairable, and IS Included. There are numerous other modifications, (all legal), that make this car unique. A list of these mods will be made available to purchaser. HERE IS Your Opportunity to own a nice bit of history, and yet still be current and more than competitive. This 5.7 Drag Pak car was originally factored at 305 HP ! (and the 5.7 ran a Natural E and could run D E and F) The car is currently factored at 411 hp and runs CC/SA or A/SA. The car has numerous #1 stock qualifier achievements, was 2011 Stock Class Performer Champion for Automatic Transmission cars, many class wins and Stock Eliminator in Noble OK, after being top stock qualifier. The car also held the A/SA NHRA National Record for both Elapsed Time and Speed from 2011 to mid 2012. The car has run, and could easily have set records in F/SA, E/SA, D/SA, C/CA. Health and financial considerations dictate that I end this adventure and sell the car, so here it is. I won't bother to throw out the corny line, my loss is your gain.
