When you realize that NHRA pays 100% of all production costs for ESPN coverage (that's right, they pay every penny, including those commentators you love) you'll understand that ESPN has absolutely zero incentive to broadcast NHRA drag racing. They've already covered their costs, so they have zero to lose.
