So on that first run I understand he just bypassed the scales and fuel check, since he knew the run wouldn't make the show. He DID stop at scales and fuel check on his first run. I was told his fuel did not pass because the alcohol he brought from home had water in it. He bought new alcohol and passed fuel check on the second run.
