I have run .90 stuff and done ok and tried some TS racing but looking for a new challenge/direction. I was looking at a Cobalt and was thinking it would fit a few different classes. But I have very little knowledge of much of the SS stuff for sure. Any info is a plus for me. Also looking for a car if anyone knows anything nice out there.
Basically you can take any car that is a legal super stock car and run SS/AS, BS or CS
The best would be Cobalt or Cavalier if you want to run a GM car. Change the hood to fiberglass with a scoop and put the modified style engine and drive train in it. Its a fast wheels up class and you have to drive them to the lanes and scales so you don't need a big crew to race one of these cars. The engines are fairly high dollar and RPM so they take a bit more maintenance that a traditional super stock car. I think you would have a blast running the class.
