Default Justin's Out And About At Cordova

Hello to everyone! Justin was out at Cordova on Fri, Sat & Sun. racing!!!YEAH!!!! On Friday he got down to the semi-finals in the Gamblers race. He was kind of upset he didn't win but I was so happy to see him out there racing again. He said it was hard for him to turn his neck to see the car coming up behind him at the finish line. On Sat. he was over there with his Uncle Mike and got into the semi-finals again and lost but the guy he was racing against ended up spliting the winnings with him, It's amazing that he is out there this soon. It's only been 3 months but I know a couple of brain surgeries aren't gonna keep him down. That was cool!! On Sunday it was the Battle of the High Schools race and he was the race coach for my daughter and a bunch of her friends. Unfortunately, my daughter is not as good of a racer as Justin but she's had the best coach!! Someday I hope to see them racing against each other.

As far as we know surgery is still scheduled for the 14th of May. They went up to Iowa City this morning for pre-op so hopefully everything is still a go so we can get this stuff out of the way and he can get back to his old self. Keep him in your prayers for the 14th!!!
