Tim,
It would have been so simple to put these cars in a new Factory Experimental class within Stock. Brent Hajek thought they would race in their own class. A separate class was fine with him. Also, asking what you would learn from nhra placing these cars in a separate class displays a serious flaw in your knowledge of Stock racing. This issue is not going away until one of these motors shows up on a dyno. There will never be a meeting of the minds until FRP provides the real numbers on the 2008 CJ motor or one of the magazines dyno's it for us. No amount of obfuscation will deter the folks who believe this is wrong. Producing legitimate power and torque numbers on this motor would be very helpful. Ford has never been this bashful before. Why not provide them and be done with this issue.
