Default Help a super stock rookie

Hey guys:

Great website, and the people on it.
I have a car in progress that was going to be a ET or S/ST car, but now we have the super stock bug. The class we are trying to fit it into is SS/CS. The car is a 67 Chevy II that was mini tubed some years back. The max tire size that will fit is 10.5 x 30R 15. It has ladder bars, and floater setup on mono leafs. We are doing a roll bar to cage add on as we speak. I know this is not the way to go, but its what we have to work with.

My question is do you think we have any chance of making this car work with this setup?

Also, the class is a iron head class and we intend to use iron bowtie SBC heads. what cubic inch engine would you go with. we have a 363 inch combo now that we could put the bowties on, but Im not sure these heads can be made to feed that big of motor a high RPM.

Last question, who is the man for the job as far as porting the iron bowties.

Thanks, Chuck
