Live from the NHRA 50th Winternationals

In under an hour we'll get our third and final Q- shot and even with Irv Johns on the pole at this moment the talk last night was that several would like to step up and take it away - not an easy task when the nearest racer to him is a solid tenth behind .Weather this morning is about the same sa yesterday - 55 degrees -62% humidity - 29.06 barometer - final DA 1256 -- the Sun hasn't burned thru yet but should before we get out on the track .

On to racing stuff - the big topic at dinner last night -- with the new Challengers in the spotlight at this years Winters everyone is asking where are the Mustangs ? After the great year they had here last year one would think they'd be back but not one in attendance .......hmmmmm .On top of that I thought for sure there would be at least one new Camaro here -- maybe in S/S or Comp --- even one of the.90 classes but nothin'.

Got a boatload of pics but am having some camera issues but I'll get it fixed .....soon ! ! !
