Housing girdle for 8.75"; yes, or no?

Jim,

This little 225 turbo /6 will never see the street.
It's just a hobby/race car.

Would you, or anybody else, for that matter, happen to know what diameter this 170 converter is?

It's still attached to the engine in the car (with the transmission) so, I can't measure it, but I heard it was an 11" converter, just like the rest of them (318/340, etc.)

I'd sure be interested to know.

Guess I'll find out when I pull it out.
