The AHRA is a sanction body just like NHRA and IHRA. you cant run an IHRA race at a NHRA track or a NHRA race at an IHRA track, same for AHRA. Their logic is somewhat justified. NHRA took away the divisional and then took them out of the bracket finals rotation. I'm not saying that track was a good spot for a divisional, but I was there for a bracket finals event and personally didn't think it was so bad. They didn't get any support from the sanctioning body to try and keep them afloat, adn they looked at adding a few races a revenue stream.

Of all companies, you would think the big N would understand the importance of trying to stay afloat in the current economic climate.
