I made a few phone calls and told the powers that be if it rains before our qualifying pass. Well.....just arrange it so it dosent, or well, I might buy a Ford for myself.
And we got to lay down a monster time, the Old Man, first time with a burnout limiter........a 22.09 @ 38mph In F/SA so....apparently its what happens when you run down the track on the burnout limiter.... ![]() ![]() ![]() So we got in the lanes after some tech confusion on our part. ![]() But were on the sheet, and its still together, a first for us, qualified and together at the same time. And he hit the scales and fuel (my biggest worry was after the bobble he'd head to the trailer, I may have not thinking) and more important we got to meet some great people. And well we got some pics Tech was having fun with sidewalk chalk. Funny thing is I grabbe a box of my kids sidewalk chalk and almost brought it, next time I will.....who says you need to be a kid to play. But it could also serve dual purpose.....a warning..... ![]() When Mandie and I got back to the pit, the car was all setup charger on, etc, I said Damm the old man is on it, then I couldnt find him, pulled around the trailer, he was in a beeline for some relaxation following the adrenaline that must have been coarsing through his veins from such a blistering pass ![]()
