When NHRA reduced the indexes 3 tenths and added a clause for those cars which may be affected that were currently on or just barely under the minimum? I vaguely recall something about dialing no slower then 3 tenths over the new indexes which was adjusted basically for qualifying concerns and AFHS concerns. There is a reason I ask is because I am trying to go as slow as possible

No kidding ! Can someone tell me why there is a minimum dial in the first place assuming the car is legal? I'm sure it comes from the early days. I cannot find in the rulebook about the dialing over the index ---- Thanks
