i have contacted both parties suggested below, thank you for your replies. yes the Calvert wheelie bar rides on the trunk floor and they do suggest a 3/16 plate be installed to the bottom on the trunk so the force of the wheel that touches it does not dent it. i have seen photos and it looks good, when the wheel hits the ground it should put more force on the driving tires based on its design. i also talked to a guy at Ken Keir's shop and his bars are equally impressive and simple to install for sure. Both seem to have a good following other than the A/stick cars. Kier's is stiffening up his bar for these cars and Calvert's have been designed with these cars in mind.
