I don't reveal sources like that because they don't want every twit in the nation clogging their phone lines Monday morning with the grievance of the day starting with "Did you really say this to Jeff Lee...". However, know that getting through to NHRA has never been difficult for me or others I know. And just like any other corporation, call with an attitude and don't expect a call back.
That being said and you obviously will discredit my unnamed source, I would challenge you to call NHRA and have a frank discussion with them on the issue. All the players are listed either on-line or in the ND. It may take a little more perseverance and tactfulness than hitting the keyboard at the drop of a hat but it can be done.

And on the Bay area, I don't see much drag racing action their. Mostly known for drag events now but not the racing kind.
