Hmmm, Never messed with a Dominator. But, just my opinion, aside from it being too big, it appears the carb does not fit your application at all!

Pro tree is difficult with a footbrake launch. I couldn't pull good RT's without deepstaging. But I'd suggest trying to slow it down mechanically (a stop of some sort). Water temp isn't a good way. Carb, especially the accellerator pump, should be tuned to your comfortable launch temp. Some cars run faster even colder!

Shorter front tires will give better RT's and slow down your ET a bit. Less rollout.
