Yeah it's small and it's a 2v but what a 2v! 800 Q-jet cut in half with 1 pri and 1 sec means 400 cfm no matter how you flow it.
Real nice cylinder head with biggish valves for a little motor (1.60/1.30).
.347/.394 cam, not a lot of compression
200 turbo
This one would test your scrounging skills and our budget but I think it could be done cheap to run under the index and built up on as funds come up.
There is one of these "screaming" around D-2 so they will go fast.
I think the key to doing this one on our budget is to find a Dana-44 "GM Service Package" bolt in rear. I've bought and sold a couple of them and the most I've paid for one is $100 (but good luck!). Don't confuse them with the "australian" rear, these look like a Dana.
Parts are available right to maybe squeak it under our budget cap.

I have run that car in D2, I believe his name was Griffin. I can tell you that is one very FAST car. I spoke with him for a while and he worked on the car for some time. Then he got hooked up with Mike Saye and we all know the rest. He is a good guy, hard worker and a good racer. A couple years ago when he set the record at Valdosta he said that he still had other things to try but Mike told him to save that for a latter date.LOL... We have a couple very quick "V" cars here in D2.
Great posts I have learned allot.
