Mid Atlantic Super Comp Association 2012 Schedule

Well after some flipping and flopping and long phone calls we finally have a 2012 MASCA Schedule! I worked long and hard on trying to get the best options for everyone with the dates. Of course I’m not going to make everyone happy with some of the dates I picked (Both Norwalk Events) but, the options that were thrown at me by the track owners was very slim. With the NHRA D-1 Schedule Expanding by a Race and some of the National Open Dates being moved to warmer months it took a lot of dates out of the mix that we had last year. Also some of you expressed going to MIR this year for the Sportsman 5 Grand Spectacular on July 13th to 15th and of course my own .90 Nationals June 8th & 9th at Numidia so we bypassed putting anything on those weekends. Three of the Four race weekends are placed the weekend before a NHRA Event either at the same track or at a track close by so many of you can leave your trailers at the track for the following weekend or get some test & tune shots in before you make the drive up to the next venue.

I look forward to seeing most of you at the banquet in a few weeks and trust me it will be an exciting one as we will have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING PAYOUTS for the 2012 Season. I can’t let much of the cat out of the bag but, we have signed on a sponsor for the 2012 season that has come through in a big way for MASCA MEMBERS! As you can see it’s going to pay to become a member this year in MASCA and we will unveil everything on Feb 18th. Every race will have a BBQ on Saturday night that is FREE of charge with your entry fee into the event. The July 7th & 8th race will feature the 1st annual MASCA BIG BASH BBQ that will be prepared by yours truly (I was a chef for 13 years before getting a desk job but, I can still make some kick *** food). So without further delay I present the 2012 MASCA Schedule….

*** April 28th & 29th – ATCO RACEWAY ***
Weekend before the NHRA Atco National Open

***May 19th & 20th – MAPLE GROVE RACEWAY ***
Weekend before the NHRA Divisional Event

July 7th & 8th – ATCO RACEWAY
1st annual MASCA BIG BASH BBQ

***September 29th & 30th – ATCO RACEWAY ***
Weekend before the Uni-Select Nationals at Maple Grove

As always we will count 5 out of the 8 races towards the final points total so you can miss a race here and there and still be in the championship hunt at the end.

The MASCA Membership fee is $70.00 for the year and with your membership fee you will receive a Free T-Shirt, 2 MASCA Stickers & 2 Free Entries into the 2013 MASCA Banquet. You can e-mail Rob at ReKeister@aol.com to get the paperwork regarding membership forms. Also anyone who would like to become a sponsor for 2012 the fee for that is $200.00.
