Hi Patsy,

Tell Larry to save his money with insecticide. Go get your regular gas can, with regular gas.
Using the small breather spout make a large ring around the nest. This cuts off their escape route, then put some in the center of the nest, now they have nowhere to go and die off rather quickly. Do not light it on fire no matter how much you want to. This works and is less expensive, plus you get to see insects die a slow miserable death. Note: do not put your fingers in the center of the nest.

Another thing for all you enjoying Belle Rose. If you feel the ground underneath you and it's a little soft, it's an ant hill. I have encountered numerous ant hills both at the races and on sports fields.
