D-7 Racer Don Keen saves a life in Vegas
Yesterday Don Keen was returning to the golf pro shop from the parking lot when he approached the clubhouse entrance. At this time Don heard a loud "Thud" and then a scream for help. Don noticed an elderly man had fallen and struck his cheek and forehead on a metal bench. The man was severely cut and bleeding badly. Don aided the man by placing him on the ground and having the man put pressure on his wounds while he ran into the clubhouse and told the staff to call 911 and bring his out towels. Don then put compression with the towels on the mans wounds. The fire dept arrived 10 mins later and thanked Don for what he did. The man's wounds were 4" on the cheek and 2" on the forehead. Don then went out and kicked our butts on the course. Just a great job by a great Stk and S/S racer. Chuck Stubeck
