New England Nationals Detailed Run Schedule

I looked at the run schedule this morning, I was surprised at the 10 am start, but certainly ok with it. Looks like we are getting plenty of runs in stk and ss. I like the schedule.

Manny, The facility upgrades this year are mostly pavement and safety, all pro catagory related. The transformation of this facility into a stadium type facility will take some time. I admire the management for taking it a step at a time rather than borrowing a zillion bucks to do it all at once. The facility ownershipwise is like no other, it was started in the 60's when the New England Hot Rod council was running the strip in Sanford,ME and I believe the town wanted to use Sanford as an airport only. There were investors and I believe all were racing people. There are alot of details that I don't know, but the ownership shares cannot be sold, only passed to relatives or they can go back to the organization. Shareholders do not make money off the track, the money goes back into the facility. The purpose of this facility has always been and still is to provide a place for people to race.

I don't expect to have a great grassy or paved pit spot, but I understand the importance of this event and facility and am looking forward to racing this weekend
