Apparently NHRA thinks it was available in 1966 as well. The last classification guide I downloaded from NHRA lists three bodies (including a 4dr wagon) and the following quote:

"Engine/Body styles highlighted in tan are available as flat hood with battery in engine compartment OR battery relocation in trunk with hood scoop"

Let me see, do I want a flat hood with the battery up front, or a scoop with the battery in the trunk? Tough decision.

There were NO scoops in 1966 on anything, NONE-NEVER WAS!!! In 1967 Mopar offered a scoop and battery in trunk on the hard top body not a post/sedan style and it was a super stock only combo!!!
