Six cylinder Super Stockers???

After doing a little internet digging on the inline six of Cotton Perry and watching some of the inline six modified cars I was wondering if anyone ran a inline six in Super Stock? I have saw straight six cylinder's in stock and modified/comp eliminator but have been going to the drags since 1981 and have never saw one running Super Stock.Can anyone chime in and shed a little light??
