Default Re: Congrats to Marty Buth on winning the Quick 32 Race in S

Thanks for the post and all the congrats! It was a real pleasure to meet Marty Knox and see him walking around the pit area with his good friend, Billy Nees. It was great to see Billy again. I met Billy for the first time, at the first Class Nationals.
This was really a fun race and it was my pleasure to be in the final 4 along with Gary Summers, Bob Shaw, and Charlie Downing. Being in that kind of company made me wonder if my little 4 cylinder was up to the task of winning against that level of fast cars.
I appreciate the congrats from Neil Smedley! I got to meet Mark Yacavone at this event and I asked Mark if you were there, Neil. I would really like to meet you some day. Many of the class racers speak very highly of your knowledge of combinations in class racing.
Thanks to Corbitt and Pat for the congrats! I hope I can get back to No Problem and race in the CIC race again.
It is wonderful to compete at a race like this, where you can let the car run to it's potential, without the fear of getting HP added to the combination. We didn't have any 1000 foot racing at this event!
