Stock Suggestion # 1

In the long ago past NHRA put cars non-streetable factory cars, '65 427 Mustangs, AWB's, '68 Hemi cars, etc. into SS. Why are they in Stock now?

OK, the SS guys just went: S**t, don't give us this problem and I don't believe we should.

I vote for putting them in their own eliminator: Factory Stock. H**L, even the IHRA knows that a computer tuned FI car doesn't belong in the same class as a car running a hundred year old designed carb!

Do I think this will happen...no! You will see older cars slowly disappear and the eliminator get smaller and die when the Big Three lose their interest in drag racing.

It's up to the NHRA to make this right but with their track record...I have little hope.
