Default Re: Towing with a Class C Motorhome...

Sounds like you have done your homework. I loved mine, it was a 2005 class c ford E450 chassis only 24' the overhang was very short compared to most. I did tow a 30' triple axel trailer with everything thrown in. very heavy, so I bought and used a trailer toad. I don't think you would need one with not much weight. also it was the V-10 lots of power but drank gas like crazy, 6mpg anyway you would try, still 6mph. personally i like the 454 chevy better, i get 8-10 now with the class A.
The decision of any motorhome over a pickup will be more than justified when you have to sit in a rain delay or days long events. can't beat the security of being that close to your racing property overnight either. other benefits, shower, refrigerator, tv, bed. on and on...
winterizing them is fairly easy.
nice to have a built in generator.
Also a great escape when the wife gets cranky lol.
