There is A-series bearings which are aluminum bored, didn't like them when they were introduced, but I take engines apart with them all time with 100K+ and they still look good, these are shiny bearings like come in all late model engines.
P-series is tin plated that has been around for years H-series is high performance. I usually use H series bearings most any thing I do street/strip,if you have a forged crank you have to use H series to clear larger radius on crank, H bearings are narrowed or chamfered to clear. I have been using alot of King bearings last few years. You can have good results with about any bearing,if have clearances correct, clean assembly, no oiling problems. |
