Grass strip all the way down the middle, and not a ton of shutdown. I've heard stories of cows from the nearby pasture getting out and in the shutdown area. It was a fun track, definitely a throwback type of track! As far as the gates, when I raced there it didn't have that anymore I don't think...but I only raced there in the last 5 years so I don't know what it was like before that.

The day I was there Jeremy Mitchell in his Grand Prix got hit while he was in the waterbox. Guy leaving didn't want to wait and clipped him with his truck and trailer.
Only one turnout for the return road. If you missed it you did a 3 point turnaround and drove back to it.
After my first pass I was driving up to the ticket booth and saw it had armco all around it. Then I noticed the wall along the track stopped at 500 feet.
I see they have last years schedule up on their website yet, so I am assuming it is now closed?
