Mr. Neal - I do not know if I am answering your question or not but when we had the 8" Hays single disc clutch in our E/SM comp car, we installed the ring height at .795. This was "zero" when installed. I am sure somewhere I have a piece of paper from Hays but do not know where it is at in our shop. Hope this helps. Michael Compton
