I had to have another person start it while I cleaned it with this 7" long 1/2" wide .110" stick with a piece of scratch cloth taped to it. Once I had it shining for both brushes, worked fine. I did mine from the bottom side through flywheel vent slots.

I have one or 2 of those brushes in my tools at work .. If it ohms funky, Ill give that a try .. was you able to do that while it was still in the motorhome
