This is just plain wrong, Tire prep will be dried into the tire within minutes up to the point of the durometer reading being stabilized. If they look wet it's possible the prep is heavy to the oil side but will be nonexistent by the time you leave the water. The car would spin uncontrolably if it were leaving oil on the track. What people are making isn't much different than a commercially available "track bite".
