So my question is will those studs being installed like that a problem or should we just check the crank bore alignment? Thanks ahead of time guys.

The newer stud kits are bullet nosed on the bottom so that bottom out. The old ones I just put them in finger tight.

How would you check crank bore alignment ??

If those were installed the block should be align honed as the instructions say.
