With all the added festivities being added for the 50th Gatornationals every week and people complaining about it taking 5-6 grading points to enter for the event. This make the most sense so that none of the STK/SS racers are shut out of the event for class. 70 % or so of the racers that attend the gators also attend the gainesville pts meet the week before. So its a win for NHRA buy running class the week before and this saves them 3-5 hours during the event.
If this all becomes fact I would't be surprised to see 135-145 cars for STK and 100 in SS down for the Gator points meet.
Why is everyone not in support for this.
Everyone gets to race class at the divisional
Nhra has shown Class Eliminations are not a priority
And if this is the new normal guess what...maybe there will be some Needed HP hits
By the way I’m sure the quota for the National event wil be 65 cars or less
So if you wanna race at gainsville the divisional will be better for most
I have plenty of grade
and will be showing up to race and not bitch
