If you don't run the residual valve you wont have a good pedal and the rear drum brakes won't apply with the correct bias. I'd go with the Strange master that has ports set up for 3/16 brake lines. i think its 1" 1/8. That's what I installed on my Firebird and it works and fits great.

Thanks Todd. I can use the 1 1/8" MC. The strange looks like the ticket and priced very reasonable.
