The EFI guys complain about the Factory Stock cars.
It's called progress and it's inevitable. And believe me, I absolutely love the fact that there are so many cool old cars still racing in Stock.

You'd be correct, except for one huge glaring error in your logic. All of the previous cars were sold, in numbers, to the public, as street cars, legal, licensed, insurable. Previously, there had to be FIFTY of a given combination built and sold from dealers to the public, for legal street use. The factory race cars do not now and have not ever met this criteria. In fact, if the factory race cars are legal, just as an example, the 67 L-88 Corvette should be, so should the 69 ZL-1 Corvette, and the 70 LS-7 Corvette. After all, the "you have to make 50 of a given combination" rule no longer applies, apparently.
