Good job Tyler, 2 class wins, and a fantastic US nationals win, goes to one of the most fun and dedicated racing families.
Its a big team win for everybody involved with those 2 cars. Drag Race Central said its his first National win, but I thought Tyler already had a few? That was some race, and very old school to finish at night, almost all in one day. Its one of my gripes with the modern racing schedules, in that the last day of a national event is almost empty of action. Well not this last day. Personally I like the full day of racing. That was an amazing day with so many talented people racing til late in the day. The stock racing was awesome, and comp was as well. I thought it was probably the best Factory Stock Showdown I have seen to date. They truly belong in a class by themselves, and where the blower cars belong. I have been thinking about small tire turbo - blower - nitrous racing this year, and feel lots of these new outlaw guys have lost track of making HP per cubic inch, and getting it to the ground. Great race, congrats to all winners! Last edited by Don Sofranko; 09-03-2019 at 03:25 PM. |
