I run a Moroso 3qt however I pre-charge it to 25psi. I can tell you that filled with 80psi engine oil pressure it only holds a measured 52oz of engine oil. You have to decide how low you want your engine oil pressure to fall by the time the accumulator is empty whatever the triggering event.

The accumulator doesn't start filling till the engine until engine oil pressure overcomes the preset pressure in the accumulator.
