April the 3rd I took my 14 year old son to Gateway Drag-strip for his birthday. We really enjoyed the racing,but we didn’t get there till around 11am.( so we missed some of the racing) including Bill Feist running his sons Ford Fairlane..after the racing was over I commented to my son I was disappointed we didn’t get to see a lot of older Fords run (I am Ford fan especially FE engines which I have collected CJ s over the years)when leaving we seen Bill getting ready to load up the Fairlane,so we went to check it out ,,Bill was great to meet and was nice enough to show us the car ..He then had my son get inside car so I could take his pic ..then even let my son run the car which my son was nervous and was beside himself !!!
Bill went out of his way to make my sons day the best ever !!! My hats off to you Bill with appreciation for being so nice!!! Thanks a lot Bill !!! He will never forget what you did for him ..But now you got me dragging out 1 of my 428cj to build my son a car ...lol
