Very strong tire, sanhuffs, 40lb's in these tires seems to be pretty good to keep the crossmember, and oil pan love scrapes down to a minumum. I really like the old style Moroso "Drag Special" front tires, not only to they see to hold air better than any other frontrunner type tire I have ever used, they also don`t seem to ever wear out. I had the same set of Moroso 7.10s on the front of my bracket car "forever", (or at least since Mark Faul was driving Tom Turners Dr. Injector Camaro Stocker, which is before Mark got his burgandy Chevelle and Pontiac S/S car, as I bought the tires from Tom back then), and I changed them just a few years ago, simply because I wanted to try a shorter tire. They still looked like new, and would still maintain air pressure over the winter. The only downside to the Moroso is they only come in 3 diameters. I typically ran mine between 30 and 45 psi.
