A questiion about lighting on the Tree

Ive had similar issues on cloudy days and night racing picking up the 3rd bulb before it's lit, also at Acton Mt right lane a couple years ago the sun was hitting the tree just right and I couldn't see the tree come down, I moved to the left lane, changed sunglasses, obviously me getting older doesn't help...
