Default G Body rear suspension

I need education about the G body rear suspension. I just bought a 1984 Cutlass [one of the factory race cars with 12 bolt, never been on the street, always been a race car, no title, sold with a bill of sale]

The car has always been run as a stocker with relatively low power. I plan to install a SBC of about 550 horse and bracket race in no E/foot brake and some index racing 6.5 - 7.0 classes.

Of course, it has a 9" tire and not much room for any larger [I do not want to cut the car except for minor trimming if needed.]

Help me with a good setup for this situation. It will weigh around 3050 - 3100 with driver.
