Sorry I didn't post more yesterday, but we had an equipment failure. The little antennae on the cell phone card for the computer got messed up and it wouldn't connect. I don't know if it had anything to do with having a 3 year old and a 16 month old in reach of it or not. LOL
Qualifying for Stock: 1. Jerry Stealy- H/SA--1.322 2. Sam Hamod-I/SA--1.289 3. Timothy Weinzapfel-1.286 R/S beat us 2nd round 4. Richard Zink-L/S--1.267 5. Bill Sempsrott-K/S-1.248 went for record, but missed by .01 6. Bruce Witherspoon- G/SA--1.244 7. Dave Walther-G/S-1.19 8. Bert Morgan-Q/SA-1.177 9. Bob Gere-L/SA -1.174 10. Donnie Beeler-G/S-1.156 11. Greg Hill- E/SA-1.156 then the rest: Summers, Pierce, Brett McFarland, Winchester, Quinn, Leach, Lyn Smith, McGinley, Mike Morgan, Dyer, Sweasy, Owens, Hughes, Fenner, Thomas Arnett, Rambo, Gyorke, Lowe, Belanger, Conkey, Mike Fuller-B/SA--.98.1, Dunlap, Kaekel, Gillespie, Gipson, Keihn, Antrobius, Harrison, Clark, Schaechter, Long, Suiter, Larry Hill A/SA-.915, Steiger, Bibb, Ellis Buth, Michael, Livengood--blew his up, Shane Smith (in a Mopar), Mattingly, Simpson, Lovins, Downing, Denysenko, Gower, Judi Bureski, Wallace, Clay Arnett, Truman, Kastle, Howard, Holley, Hardy, McDonald, Tosto, Schmalz, Ed Bennett, Phillips, Rod Boertman, Gresens, Hall, Reese, Walcott, Daryl Bureski, Stamps, Whalen, Kinkel, Botten, Caleb McFarland (Brett's 16 year old son in the D/SA Corvette, now he was having fun!), Bishop, Lindley, Hanlon, Black, Bill rowe, Seibenick, Barkley, Turk, JB Stephenson, Larsen (Underdog is here!), Chris Stephenson, Dean, Bob Smith, Gil Brannon. Brannon was # 94 in a 92 Spirit--just getting a grade point? On Saturday seems like we spent most of the day sitting in the stands waiting to run. There were lots of oil downs in other classes. They would call you up and then we would wait for an hour or more each time to run. So it was a day of hurry up and wait. But it was Chamber of Commerce weather. Mid 80's and cool at night. Could not have asked for better weather. And the track hooked everytime for us. We had a great time with all the family there. Sorry I didn't get any pictures this time, but I will at the next race. So where should we go in 2 weeks? Kansas City is having a Nat'l Open where they are running Top Stock, too, but they run Stock/Superstock Combo. (420 miles) Then Division 2 has a points meet at Reynolds, GA (492 miles) Then there is the Dutch Classic--run Class or Top Stock, but it is 858 miles. I guess the weather will probably be the deciding factor!! More later. Patsy |
