Look at the kind of money the stock and S/S racers pay to enter an NHRA or IHRA National event event for $1000 to $1500 win money. The rest is paid by sponsors (IF your lucky enough to collect from them). Just food for thought and congrats to Peter for the win. He couldnt win that much money if he won Indy twice in one weekend.

There were 42 cars entered for the race that Peter won, and the entry fee was $1,000 per car. It was winner take all, thus the $42,000 payday.
