I'm thankful to report that no aneurysm was found when Phil had the angiogram this morning, so it appears at this point that surgery will not be necessary. He will have a MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiogram) early next week, but he appears to be doing well at this point and may be moved from SICU to a regular room tomorrow. He was reasonably coherent when we visited with him during visiting hours, though his stories would take some veeerrrryyy interesting twists when the dope would kick in

We never saw his eyes open yesterday afternoon, so this was a huge step in the right direction.
Thanks everybody for your concern and prayers. Please continue to pray for Phil, as this is quite a serious matter that he went through and we are still not certain that everything is ok. The one thing that we are certain of is that Phil is in God's hands and there is absolutely no better place to be.
Mark
