Slant Six guys?

Thanks Ed, this intake came off a 79. There's 7 more slant-six Aspen/Volare's in the wrecking yard to raid parts from, in case I made a boo-boo here.

Now, the cylinder head from the 78 is the same in 79, so I am ok there. I see the 79 factors better than a 78, so can I change intake manifolds and any other outside trim differences and call this car a 79? I thought I read about others doing similar things to other cars???

Aspen 7709, what if I may ask was causing head-gasket problems? Was your's in Stock?
