NHRA has definitely given Mickey Thompson and Hoosier the "shaft" on the Pro Stock tire deal, but I think it is a mistake and a "knee jerk" reaction on the part of M/T to withdraw from NHRA since 99.9% of their business is on the sportsman side. Some of these companies need to "wake up" and worry about their bread and butter, the sportsman racers. Just my .02.

M/T isn't leaving sportsman racing, they are leaving NHRA. There is a whole lot of racing in other sanctioning bodies, most of whom are glad to have doorslamers.
