LMAO! I wondered how long it would take for someone to find the Calvert pass I downloaded! I also have the second pass recorded, I might put it up later today. 10.11 run. For anyone who cares, I also posted Alex's first pass on YouTube -

He is racing a 1969 Cobra Jet owned by brothers Earl and Kay Murakami of Lancaster, CA.

Also, under the right side of the video, those of you with high-speed internet can view the video in high quality and it looks much nicer like that!

Robert Ponds pass is amazing, i'd love to see what it'd do if he can hook in good sea level (or below) air.

My thoughts exactly, Tom. I attend the Pennsylvania Dutch Classic every year here in Div.1, so I was there last year when Steve Ficacci set the AA/S ET record at 9.72. The adjusted altitude on Thurs. was 600' below sea level; on Fri. it was 200' below. Robert Pond ran 9.760 with a listed adjusted altitude, on Drag Race Central, of 2136'. What would Pond run at 200' - 600' below sea level? I am in no way trying to lessen what Ficacci did last Oct.; just stating the facts and asking a question.

Bill

That's the problem! This is a KILLER car and makes all other in these classes obsolete!

The question is???? How long will it take for NHRA to factor this car correctly??

If they haven't factored a '67 Ford Fairlane correctly by now, don't expect it to happen any time soon.

Robert Pond drives a 1967 427ci Ford Fairlane, a combination that has been around for 42 years and has been factored a few times; don't confuse him with the new 2008 Cobra Jet Mustangs which are at their first race.
