"On top of that ,is the fact that bogus, low hp ratings have been submitted by the manufacturers for atleast 45 years" I just disagree with some as to what should be done about it. I think the factory involvement in Stock Eliminator, is good for our sport.

Mark, I would have to agree with you as a whole but I can't think of any engine that has been this far off!! CAN YOU?
It's hard to believe that Ford would go to this extreme when it did'nt need to!! Oh well it is what it is Last edited by junior barns; 02-12-2009 at 04:11 PM. Reason: spelling |

I have no clue what to do about this... It just does seem to be a shame when they will eat the lunch of guys like Al Corda, Joe Sorenson, Ryan Mcclanahan etc. when those guys have spent lots of time and money sorting out their combos to get them to that point. My only concern is that they really need to be controlling the boost on the applications. If they are absolutely not willing to do that, then these cars will eventually factor themselves out of stock. Which is unfortunate. It's a bigger problem than someone like me can solve. I just hope when it sorts it self out that it's what's best for everyone. |
